Next Workshop - February 23rd, 10 a.m.
Next month's focus will be couponing for beginners. Also, we will be making enough liquid hand soap for everyone to take some home with them. Participants are asked to bring a container (preferably one with a pump dispenser) with them.
Chicken Pot Pie
Roll out one pie shell and fit in bottom of pie pan.
Make one serving of Cream of Something soup.
Mix: Cream of Something Soup
One can drained mixed vegetables
One can drained chunk chicken
Pour into pie shell.
Top with second pie shell and bake at 350 until golden brown.

Cream of Something Soup
Mix:
1 cup non-fat dried milk
3/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup bouillon granules
4 Tablespoons freeze dried minced onions
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon pepper
To make soup:
Mix 1/3 cup dry mix with 1 1/4 cup water.
Cook until thickens
Makes the equivalent of one can of condensed cream soup
1 cup non-fat dried milk

¾ cup butter
Using a pasty cutter, mix until butter is about the size of a pea
Add: 1 slightly beaten egg
5 tablespoons cold water free
1 tablespoon white vinegar
Stir until well blended
Divide into half and put in baggie, refrigerate until use.

Sour Cream Drop Biscuits
2 sticks softened butter
8 ounces sour cream
2 cups self rising flour
Mix ingredients.
Spray muffin pan with Pam.
Using spoon drop mixture in muffin pan.
Bake at 400° for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
